Just went there, loved it. Monaco and Eze were especially awesome. The beach clubs at Nice were awesome too haha, nothing like being served Margherita pizza 5 feet from the Mediterranean
Here is a color coded map on where to find [Nice people, and not Nice People](https://i.redd.it/e64as8nid4141.jpg)
The 1,000 year old Citadel ruins back behind the waterfall are great as well!
I just learned socca is a gluten-free, chickpea flour flatbread. https://soccacorner.org/2021/06/19/what-is-socca-bread-and-why-you-should-be-making-it/
It’s at the top of Castle Hill. So if you are in Old Town Nice, the hill that separates Old Town from the Port of Nice is where the waterfall is located.Along with several other viewpoints of Nice and the Port, a cafe, children’s playground, Christian and Jewish cemetery, and ruins of a 1,000 year old Citadel.
I remember it was raining when I started to walk from my hostel towards the Tourre Bellanda and by the time I reached the waterfall, the rain had stopped and the sun started to shine really bright through the clouds over the Alps. I am not usually the type, but I literally had a tear going down my cheek.
Then "BOOM" a big fuckoff cannon scared the shit out of me. Apparently, they shoot it off every day at noon.

Going in 2 weeks. What beach clubs did you enjoy?
Honestly if you want to eat on the beach, Juan-les-Pins is a much better place... Unless you don't like sand.
Any specific place? Love sand.
We liked Le Galet

Italy has a similar chickpea flatbread called farinata. It’s easy to make at home too!
you love waterfalls don't you??
Oh, man! When I visited Nice several years ago, I couldn’t get enough of that socca! Yum!!

I've been to Nice on three occasions and never seen this waterfall....what part of Nice is it in please?
It’s under Terrasse Nietzsche, in Le Parc de la Coline du Châteaux next to old Nice.
Interesting... thank you
Thank you for the info! I’ll be looking into.

Texan here as well...27 countries...43 states...3 continents! Travel junkie obviously....I will look for this next time I'm in Nice?
I’ve been there twice….I missed that waterfall both times….where’s that at?
It’s in Parc de la Colline du Château
Thanks! I’ll have to go see it if I go back!
Went to nice 6 years ago, was lovely except for the booming canon fire which made me quite nervous as at the time was unaware
My most favorite place. Nice has such a great vibe with so much to offer in the surrounding area. Thanks for sharing!

Well, such a unique experience!!! I bet you would remember that all you life 😆
Yes, it was amazing! I also went to the Carnaval Parade of Lights and the Bataille des Fleurs.
I want that giant crepe
NICE
Yea thats nice
They thoroughly missed out on the opportunity to make the hashtag statue simply say #Noice
If these were taken yesterday, I was probably at the “I love Nice “ about the same time you were.
TLC would be disappointed to see that it appears you did indeed go chasing after waterfalls
I'll be there in 2 months. Any recommendations?
I want to travel there and bath with my gf....
