Those aren't aborts. Looks more like an infection. How's your airflow? There appears to be some light grey mold growing on the substrate as well. I make no claim on the edibility of these, but I will say this: I've dried and eaten some in similar (and worse) condition before. If it killed me, they forgot to tell me. No negative side effects at all. And the best part was the complete lack of negative side effects!
