Continue to Sleep
By - My_Memes_Will_Cure_U
I have a sneaking suspicious that this is why my bedsheets are so messy in the morning...
Same. Once i went to sleep and woke up in the middle of the night sideways. That wasn’t even the weirdest thing i woke up to.
I used to frequently (like once every week or two) wake up upside down, with my head at the foot of the bed and my feet up on my pillow. No idea how I got that way, but I never woke my boyfriend up in the process of ending up turned around.
Same, sometimes I still have my pillow with me too. Usually wake up rested those nights.
What is the weirdest thing you woke up to?
Going down stairs to ask my stepdad where mom was and he said she isn’t here (at work) to which I freaked out and ran upstairs to start crying because I had a dreamt that my mom had died when I woke up one day for school one day.
Took me a while to realize it was a dream. I was devastated.
One time my printer automatically downloaded and installed an update and did an alignment check at like 3 in the damn morning. It woke me up and I jumped up in bed and screamed, “SOMEONE’S IN THE HOUSE!” I saw my hockey stick in the corner of the room and went to step off the bed and grab it but my feet got tangled in the blankets and I did a full-on face plant on the floor. Woke up to my alarm going off, still face down on the floor with my feet tangled in the blankets, with a headache and a big bruise and rugburn on on my forehead.
It’s not super weird in and of itself, but it’s a weird way to wake up and a funny story to share.
So... That's a concussion. Heh. I've had a few in my life, they're not super fun.
Yeah I’ve had a couple besides that one. Just went for the more humorous telling is all.
I think you knocked yourself out buddy.
It's like that time I had a dream about eating half a sheep and woke up and my pillow was missing...and there was a half eaten sheep in my bed.
I once went to sleep and woke up suffocating with weight over my face I thought someone was trying to smother me with some kind of pillow and went to try fast and hard to move the pillow up to breath expecting to be met with resistance. Instead I heard my cat yowling as she soared halfway across the room. I apologized but she wasn't having any of it and slept somewhere else.
Plot twist. It wasn’t a dream and your cat is the babadook
Yes, there's you sleep walking.
Then there's you sleep tarzan mode as you use all 4 limbs to traverse the might ordeals in your dreams.
if you do think something like this might happen to you it might be worth your while to do a sleep study.
there's a specific thing in our body that handles the process of disconnecting your body while your unconscious but this process can fail resulting in your limbs moving while you move in a dream.
Alternatively, it can work too well and you wake up being crushed into your bed by whatever horrors your brain felt like cooking up. Slavering 200 lb dog, demon, shadow monster...
Sleep paralysis is a bitch. I think I prefer sleep walking. At least when i wake up in my kitchen i know nothing is trying to kill me.
He was dreaming that he fell.
If you fall off desk in a dream
You fall off a desk in real life
If you poop in your dreams, you poop for real...
I honestly suspect this was related to "my feet aren't touching the ground" getting through to dream-brain.
HIS DREAMS BECOME REALITY
r / stop linking subreddits
Stolen from here i think. That's why the cropping is all fucked
And that one is just taken from Tik Tok. What are the chances that the poster on Tik Tok took it from somewhere else?
Ive never used Tik tok. Is it even possible to upload vids on there? I thought it had to be recorded using the app.
There's tons of videos that were recorded before tik tok came into existence that will end up on reddit with the dumbass tik tok watermark on it so I assume they can upload videos. I've never used that garbage app either
All cats in Greece sleep this way
Cats are so comical to watch
You've summed up the internet.
"It matters not where khajit rests his head"
You had me at Khajit. +1
"Well that was weird, but I still have five more hours of sleeping to get done today, so..."
Πολύ γάλα ήπιε
A vet commented on this when it was posted before saying that this is concerning and the cat should probably get checked out. Something about it most likely being a seizure
It looks more like it's just trying to run in its sleep and fell off the shelf..? Looks nothing like a seizure
Yeah when a cat has a seizure it... seizes... You can't move like that when having a seizure.
You can move in all sorts of ways in a seizure. Lots of different parts of the brain can be affected.
It was the part afterward that really scared me. That didn’t look like a cat who was just going back to sleep. That looked like a cat who was unconscious.
Anyway, I’m not diagnosing, just agreeing it’s worth a check out. Email the video to the cat’s vet and see what they say. Best case, “nah, don’t worry.” Worst case, “let’s start kitty on meds, we don’t want brain damage to happen.” That’s it.
Source: epileptic myself. Human, but there isn’t one “right” way to have a seizure.
My dog looks like this during parts of his seizures. He looks like he's running.
Have you ever had a seizure? Your body freaks the fuck out
Yeah your muscles tense up and you lose control.. you don't just start running lmao
My dog used to have seizures due to a brain tumor and while he did seize up, he also looked pretty much just like this.
This video makes me sad. 😔
There are many different types of siezures. Babies can have seizures and they dont twitch around like you probably think all seizures look like
Previous ER vet tech here. That’s the first thing that popped into my head. I used to see patients have seizures like this.
[there are many different types of siezures ](https://www.cdc.gov/epilepsy/about/types-of-seizures.htm)
That doesn't look anything like a seizure
Yeah, that’s not close to what a seizure looks like. Like, not even close to close. I think the person you are commenting about more likely just said they were a vet because, you know, Reddit?
Ehhhh probably just chasing a mouse like that dog video where it runs into the wall
Or the cat is just trying to save face...
That's one sleepy boy.
uh isn’t that cat having a seizure?
No my cat does that sometimes too when he sleeps
It's REM phase.
Seizures involve seizing, not pretending to run
Definitely a seizure.
It looks like it's running to me
Denon receiver stereo making a bunch of heat. Good stuff
Daang two people back to back?!
Here is your gif!

Looks weird seeing a cat not fall on it's feet
I’ve always wondered what are animals dreaming about but now I don’t wanna learn anymore.
Cat woke up so smooth and nonchalantly that I'm questioning if that really happened or if I'm just crazy.
Awe... He had a nightmare.
Ah yes greek cats
Me after my mom wake me up
Fits in r/whyweretheyfilming as well
I just wanted to say that I have that same little suit of armor! I think I bought it in Germany.
Me every morning when the alarm rings.
Me, when alarm goes off.
my cat wakes up if I blink too hard
He was having a dream about falling off a shelf onto the floor, so it all worked out.
Typical Greek cat spshhh
Cat would be jealous of our myoclonic jerk.
Cat.exe has stopped working
Well for once a cat didn't land on its feet... I can now rest in peace
Such a minor fucking inconvenience
Oh my gosh! Cats can’t land on their feet while they’re sleeping?!? Ok, don’t panic... Just NO ONE tell Alinity. We can’t risk letting this knowledge get to her.
Pretty sure this isn’t funny
REM phase probably. Fits with barely waking up from falling down, waking up during REM phase is the hardest. Doubt it's anything serious.
Are you suggesting the cat was in on it?
When I have a great dream and wake up and try to go right back to sleep to get back into it. Spoiler, never works
Put his head back down to try and get back into the dream where he left off.
This is how it feels to run in a dream.
Damn this cat is living some life...
Vestibular Syndrome. Go see a vet.
Ζήτω Η Ελλάδα!!!🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷
The cat was dreaming about Joe Biden being President
