dope! did you just wing the exposure?

Thanks! This picture was made during the shooting day of a short film I was the cinematographer on, so I already had a good starting point of where my exposure should be, metered the fall off of the high light on the wall since I wanted to exposure to be dark and crush the blacks. Not to happy about the scan from the lab, hoping to have my own scanner in a year or so once I have the space, and will definitely rescan this image
