Depending on age it could be a red flag if you let your car run out of gas. If you’re like 20 it’s a bit irresponsible but not that big a deal. If you’re like 28 not the biggest deal ever, but get your shit together.

[deleted]

agreed. a 30 year old should know better unless maybe she just got her license

Atomheartmother90

I used to drive a diesel and was ingrained in my head that you NEVER let it run out of gas. My mother-in-law runs out of gas all the time. Literally every time I get in her car it’s on empty. She just drives around like it’s not on but I am constantly in full panic mode.

GT_Knight

the bigger red flag would be the guy judging her based off one mistake. why would you tell someone "that's a red flag" and then proceed on with the date, unless it's to gain power and make them feel smaller? the real red flag is guys like that.

kaleighb1988

What if her gas gauge is broke?

Floatography

my first car as a 16 year old didn't have a working gas gauge. I drove it for 2.5 years and never once ran out of gas. Most people with broken gas gauges tend to be MORE careful about topping up constantly.

kaleighb1988

I definitely get that. I was more thinking of it was a recent thing with it breaking and she hasn't realized yet.

nerowasframed

I ran out of gas once in my father's old truck, because I had no idea the gas gauge was broken. If it had broken recently, she may not have known it was broken. Running out of gas happens once in a while. Sometimes it is the person's fault, sometimes it's not. Calling it a red flag is a big stretch.

Floatography

I think had it not been her fault, she would have said something

Meta-of-Pods

I had a old car that every time you stepped on the gas pedal, the gas gauge flopped back and forth. Never knew how much has was really in that tank the entire time. I just put 3 gallons in every 4 days.

OIav_

Again if you’re younger not a deal breaker, but the closer you get to 30 the more of a red flag I see. In my mind it plays out like if you can’t keep your car maintained or keep gas in it, that could be a sign that this person isn’t proactive. If I’m going to be in a relationship with someone I don’t want to have to take care of everything in their life. Still a funny video

Floatography

she's 32 and based on her follow ups, shes PAINFULLY unaware of why its a red flag to run out of gas when you have the money to afford it. The guy was probably an asshole about it but I don't blame him for being skeptical about her after that.

OIav_

I think this might by for comedic purposes. With the setup and punchline and all that.

Floatography

unfortunately the rest of her profile makes her out to be pretty self important, judgey and entitled, so I think she might just be a piece of shit.

GT_Knight

self-aware and humorous imo

Rryann

Yeah this is hilarious

RougeVengeance

If it was their first time meeting and they hadn’t been talking long, I could understand him being sketched. If I was inviting a girl over and all the sudden she’s like “oops actually can you come meet me somewhere else(presumably on the side of the road)” I’d be like uhhh is this person cat fishing and trying to mug me.

TeamlyJoe

Yeah its pretty sus now that you mention it

Jannet_Alaska

Tragic on all counts.

sweetnessalive

Oh no sis. Let's not even talk about the gas thing. You still slept with a dude who disrespected you like that? And don't try to say "until you get bored". He's clearly the one with all the power here and will stop calling you when he finds something he wants more. He was a dick but you're a dummy

[deleted]

agreed

justindustrial

this is def humour

Thevsamovies

Not really cringe but who just lets their car run out of gas lol

BLGreyMan

Everybody wins, I don't see the problem.

dearrichard

i fill up the second i hit 3/4 tank left.

Zombombaby

I've run out of gas before. My sister did it like next door to a gas station. Then she locked her keys inside. She panics in those situations.

[deleted]

Ran outta gas, sleeping with him til bored, not gonna walk to gas station. Hairstylist confirmed. Most fun you can have in your 20’s

andrewsad1

"There's a gas station like half a mile away" Yeah, I'll just singlehandedly push my car 2500 feet, that'll take no time at all

WLM666666

More proof women aren't funny

MsCarriage_69

Off brand Linda Cardellini should know better

theeseyes

You guys think she's the type of girl that acts dumber than she is because she thinks it's more attractive to guys. The way she speaks seems like she's putting on an act. Maybe she is just really dumb.

ShenMula

This is... A joke.
