Anybody using NOOPEPT?

Anybody using NOOPEPT?

I have not tested it yet, but I remember seeing Leo recommend it as part of his "Entrepreneur Stack" at a dose of 10-30 mg prior to engaging in cognitively taxing tasks no more than five days per week.

lyghtyagami

In my experience it’s not very stimulating. I’m not a big fan but that’s just how I responded.

Switch_23

Yeah, not stimulating per-se, but more present, clear, ...

SwoleMaster99

Amino aslylums nasal spray noopept has been a god send for me, 5-10mg is all I need where oral noopept I barely felt anything

Switch_23

What kind of effects do you notice?

SwoleMaster99

Mental sharpness, easier staying on task, alertness, feels like a mild stimulant but much better cognition

Just get herbal sleeping tablets and disconnect from the internet. Preferably just read a book or something before bed. No screens an hour before bed is a good rule

Anyone know if noopept Nasel spray would be good for my grandmother with dementia, was contemplating cerebrolysin but I don’t want to inject her with anything.

beilo

dude she needs more acetylcholine. Donepezil, alpha-gcp or cdp-choline. Donepezil is prescribed for dementia, she can easily get donepezil

inthishoe4

She’s on donapazil, alpha GPC, aceytl l-carnitine. L tyrosine. I also got her on HRT with estradiol and progesterone because estro is neuroprotective. Also put her on DHEA and vit d3+k2. She’s on an SSRI as well I believe.

beilo

that's great. She must be proud that you care about her that much

inthishoe4

:)

Switch_23

That's so great. My grandma is refusing to take anything. She just threw everything her doc gave her in the trash. But she is slowly fading away.

inthishoe4

The worst thing is my grandmothers diet is pretty bad and she refuses to change it as I don’t think she believes it will help her. Alzheimer’s basically type 2 diabetes in the brain, so I figured I’ll try and cut the carbs (which she didn’t adhere to) I give her MCT oil as well for the ketone effect. Maybe metformin would be a good idea but I think I need to do more research.

Switch_23

I think I've read somewhere that ALA is good for improving brain insulin sensitivity. Maybe check that out. I doubt grandma would want to adhere to a keto diet ... Also, telmisartan.

inthishoe4

Yeah she didn’t fw the keto diet at all, although the goal wasn’t to get her into a keto diet fully, but I’ve read some of dr Mary Newport’s work and I’m pretty sure it would be the best diet for Alzheimer’s patients. I think she’s on an ace inhibitor for blood pressure, do u know if I can add telmizartan on, or do they interact negatively? Also would the positive effect through be through PPAR activity?

Switch_23

Sorry, no idea about that one. Damn, you're lucky she's willing to try everything your throwing at her XD

beilo

i been using it and it doesnt work for me. I dont feel anything from it personally. I used it orally, maybe nasal spray is different

Switch_23

That's so strange. I took 2.5mg yesterday and I still cant see myself sleeping ...

Switch_23

Maybe it was bunk?

beilo

Don't think so

was gonna buy some for my ADHD, did some research for best easily available alternative and just bought like 8 grams of cyclazodone for like 50 bucks instead. its dopiminergic like amphetamine but not banned. 7mg is good for me in the morning. pretty sweet even though its sketchy and obscure gotta buy from newmind but you have to “convince” them you are a researched instead but its just so they can cover their asses legally. (have to show them a paystub or a student ID from college)

Snoo-14803

How good is cyclazodone for u? Came across this recently and thinking of buying it. So far nothing beated phenylpiracetam from nootropics and similar compounds, have u tried phenyil if yes is it better?

17-methyl-o-test

ive done phenyl 1 time, but not again since it came in DMSO which sketched me out lmao. cyclazodone for me feels like slight euphoric real motivation for like 4 hours, then rest of the day it kinda feels like modafinil if that makes sense. cyclaz also has an amazing dollar per effect ratio, kinda want to start helping ppl and tell them bout it but then it might get banned :(

Snoo-14803

Have u tried any adhd meds and if yes how does cyclo compare with em?

17-methyl-o-test

no going to try and get a prescription soon

Used Semax a few times now, had a very intense effect the first time but not the later times. Might be due to degradation as I don't keep it in the fridge (still in a cool spot but not below 8c as stated on the bottle). Interested in giving Noopept a go sometime, just haven't gotten to it. On my first semax try I also had the idea that I wouldn't be able to sleep as I felt very alert and focused but ended up sleeping in after 30 mins or so anyway.

Switch_23

I also slept on semax. And I'm a bad sleeper, anything that worsens sleep I feel it then fold. On semax there was a strange feeling of time elongation. For instance; at 7PM I felt like it was 23PM. Days felt much longer.
