If we're talking believability, [it has to be JBL's Clothesline From Hell](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDdhjhR-m88&list=PLqIVmFaHA8BosP1hYNKUy7QDo68mhMisH&index=206). If we're talking believability AND how beautiful it looks, [it has to be RVD's Five-Star Frog Splash](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eK36sJm8qkg&list=PLqIVmFaHA8BosP1hYNKUy7QDo68mhMisH&index=198). RVD not only makes it look good but he sells after the impact, which makes me believe he got hut as well, which makes it look that much more impactful.
I see a lot of wrestlers do versions of it now, but the first time I saw Petey Williams do the Canadian Destroyer, I was floored.
Ember Moon’s Eclipse. Pops me every time.
>Pops me every time.
Pops her vertebrae too
Mayu Iwatani's [Dragon Suplex Hold](https://gfycat.com/femininewelltodobluebird) because of that beautiful bridge.
[Masato Yoshino's "Lightning Spiral"](http://www.smarkhenry.com/2020/03/finisherfriday-030620-lightning-spiral.html)
I love that move too but my issue with it is that if it's not sold correctly then it doesn't look very impactful.
I’m partial to a good Olympic/Angle Slam, especially as it was an easy enough move to break out in the schoolyard
Awful Waffle and the Moonsault and Battery.
The awful waffle is such a great move 🖤
Hurrah! Another Year, Surely This One Will Be Better Than the Last; The Inexorable March of Progress Will Lead Us All to Happiness
What an insane fucking name for a move. I had to google it because I thought you were on the wrong thread lol
ZSJ also has "Barry From Eastenders", "Yes! I Am A Long Way From Home", "How About These Legs?" And "Orienteering with Napalm Death" to name just a few more of his submission finishers
Stone Cold Stunner.
Victoria’s “Widows Peak” hands down.
Best looking finisher ever. Im surprised so few people have tried to copy it.
Black Mass. Simple, smoothly executed, and absolutely devastating.
1. To address your comment: Codebreaker was innovated by Naomichi Marufuji, like many other beloved moves (Curb Stomp, Shiranui, V-Trigger, etc…)
2. My favorite finisher changes daily, but Christopher Daniels’ Angel’s Wings holds a special place in my heart.
I'll give a shout out to Baron Corbin's "End of Days". It's a pretty sick finisher and I think the one he hit on Chad Gable is one of the coolest looking spots ever.
while I do have a soft spot for the Codebeaker (as well as any and all variations of it or inverted Lungblowers like FTR's Big Rig or Taiji Ishimori's Bloody Cross), my absolute favorite is the Shining Wizard.
But only with a proper step-up from the opponents knee, [just like Mutoh used to hit them.](https://youtu.be/5nvLYXL9f2I?t=16) Absolutely brutal
Sharpshooter and Macho Man’s elbow
It was freakin' dangerous as hell, but Kidman's Shooting Star Press was so pretty looking
Sitout full Nelson facebuster or variations of a sitout facebuster like the Glam Slam
the Bomaye (aka the Kinshasa, "Bomaye" propably isn't PG enough) - simple yet viscous
Buff sucks, but the Blockbuster is one of the coolest moves in wrestling.
Tyson Kidd's springboard blockbuster was top notch. Mansoor's slingshot version is cool too.
The Deadeye is fucking awesome.
RKO. It can be performed on anyone, has an awesome pre-finisher taunt, can be creative, and hits best outta nowhere!
Also the Cross Armbreaker/Armbar looks awesome, especially the roll it does before landing on the mat.
Cross Face Chicken Wing
RKO and F5
House Call (Swerve’s kick to the back of the head.)
Shatter Machine/Big Rig
And a nice Elbow Drop
I'll be a sharpshooter man til the day I die.
big kamigoye guy
Curb Stomp ANYDAY
High Fly Flow
One Winged Angel
Spear but how Goldberg does it.
RVD five star frog splash and Omega One Winged Angel
Old school submission moves stuff like figure 4, camel clutch, crossface chicken wing, Cobra clutch, sharpshooter/scorpion deathlock, Boston crab, Texas cloverleaf, etc
Orienteering with Napalm Death
After all these years, I still love the shooting star press... as long as Kidman is not the one doing it.
Also, the Diamond Cutter was really cool. Kanyon giving random Diamond Cutters was pretty funny, too. Now, Randy Orton does one every three seconds, so it's not as exciting, but still a good move.
Bank Statement, Trouble in Paradise and The Insane Elbow.
Diamond Cutter, Tombstone Piledriver
The Ghostbuster -Koko Ware
Top rope double stomp by Sonjay Dutt.
Black Hole Slam by Abyss.
Hook & Ladder by Jon Moxley.
Sharpshooter, especially by Bret or The Rock.
Awful Waffle by Dustin.
Final Cut by... another Dustin.
Favorite all time is probably the Stone Cold Stunner for the sheer bedlam and chaos it created and represented.
My favorite finisher can change at any moment but I will say that a good implant DDT is something special - particularly when there manages to be some good sustained hangtime on the lift.
I'm a fan of the following:
Black Fire Driver - Rey Fenix
Zack Driver - Zack Sabre Jnr
GTR - Hirooki Goto
Always been a huge fan of the shiranui.
Package piledriver. It just looks so convincingly brutal no matter who's using it, and one of my favorite wrestlers (Penta) puts some \*stank\* on it.
Perfect Plex. As a kid, I always thought it was cool that the finishing move was also a pin
Burning Hammer looks like it could kill (may actually??)
Sammy's GTH is cool right now.
GTH and the Stunner.
Burning hammer! But not like these two [jabronis](https://youtu.be/kB0pLdFE310)
Solo: End of Days and Eclipse, Tag: Shatter Machine (Love ya Brodie, but it's always going to be the Shatter Machine to me. I scream it every time)
A lot of my favorites have already been mentioned, but one that I think doesn’t get enough credit is Cedric Alexander’s Lumbar Check.
single: Running Ligerbomb
tag team: Power & Glory's superplex-supersplash combo
Jake Roberts' version of the DDT. It looked like death when I was a kid and I am still upset that its become such a transition move. I'm old, let me yell at my clouds.
Singles - Razor's Edge/Crucifix powerbomb.
Tag finisher will always be the Doomsday Device, though.
The one nobody can possibly do safely. The TKO from No Mercy n64.
