Bianca+Sasha avenging Sting on the Lynch family.
Lol Becky trying to snuggle them
Becky Lynch: “Note to self: Do not let Sasha or Bianca hold baby Roux.”
I was so confused for half a second why they were dressed up like it was cold outside.
I immediately thought to NJPW guys on their off day matches during the G1. Like "this isn't important enough for me to take my shirt off."
The sight of a woman's midriff is one of the most heinous things you could possibly see in Saudi Arabia.
But Finn's sexy abs can be exposed in a country where being gay is a death sentence
You can try tell Finn to cover up, he'll still find a way to show off his abs and dong
He's still trynna complete that Alexa Bliss deal that Lio Rush interrupted
Lol same. Then I went “Oh! They’re just dressed up like it’s Saudi Arabia outside!”
Respecting the country they are in
Respecting oversized t-shirts to hide a woman's figure because the country is too backwards.
Because the country is against hyper-sexualizing women by having them wrestle in bikinis. In our view you're backwards.
You do know there's clothes of all sizes between oversized t-shirts and Bikinis, right??
Sure, but the organizers happened to choose yoga pants and long-sleeve shirts for this one, according to their own standards not yours. I don't see how that's so offensive to you?
The problem is the fact that men can wrestle in nothing but speedo trunks and no one cares, the country is completely fine with men exposing their bodies. God forbid the women do it though. It's discrimination, plain and simple, I don't care what the customs are. It's wrong.
Men can wrestle in speedo trunks because people who watch wrestling are 90% male, so the likelihood they'll be sexualized is much lower. If the audience was mostly women they wouldn't be shirtless let alone wearing speedo trunks, and the wrestlers who are women would be wearing whatever they want.
Is it hypersexualizing men to have them wrestle in speedos?
No, since wrestling fans are 90% male there isn't much risk of hypersexualization. If they were mostly women they wouldn't be shirtless, let alone in speedos.
So only women can be sexualized? Sorry your country is so shitty and sexist lmao
No, if the audience was 90% female the male performers would be asked to dress modestly. But the majority of wrestling fans are men, therefore the female performers were asked to dress modestly. Do I need to rephrase it a third time for you or did you get it this time?
So, as a man, if you see a woman wearing the same style of outfit as a male wrestler, you're physically unable to control yourself? Like what justifies making women dress modestly but not men? If your gaze wanders, cut out your eye
No. Hypersexualising women is forcing them to cover their bodies because of the idea that their skin in and of itself is sexual in nature.
The country is not against hypersexualising women. The country is against a woman’s right to dress in whatever attire she is comfortable in.
Can you explain to me why that is? Why are men able to wrestle in even less clothing than regular women’s attire without there being a conversation on their hypersexualisation?
It may be because male dominated societies that dictate the terms of modesty on women and dictate the terms of their sexual freedom (or lack thereof) right down to the clothes that they wear do so as a system of oppression designed to remove a woman’s agency over her own body. A system of oppression that is then hidden behind a false, hollow, hypocritical argument of being “against hypersexualisation”.
TL;DR: “Will you stop?!” - Gorilla Monsoon
Just a guess though.
Because wrestling fans are mostly men, so them being hypersexualized isn't possible.
I’m a gay man. There are many gay men that watch professional wrestling. There are also many, many women who watch professional wrestling. The hypersexualisation of men is possible.
Please continue on your bullshit.
My bad, I meant probable. Yes, there are gay fans. Yes, there are fans who are women, but they're both a small minority of the overall fanbase. It's kind of like the situation in video games, there aren't many video games out there that hypersexualize men, but the amount that hypersexualize women is abhorrent. The reason is the product is made to satisfy the majority demographic in a sexual manner. That's what we have an issue with. If the fanbase were mostly women you'd see the opposite situation, with the men being asked to dress more modestly rather than women.
Nah man. Bullshit. That’s some top class fucking bullshit.
Show me a real life example of the opposite, where men are asked to dress modestly so they’re not hypersexualisated by women.
The part that you keep dancing around is the fact that women in Saudi Arabia have their freedoms and rights held by men. Even in recent years, they are only gaining certain rights and freedoms because their male dominated system of government.
A woman’s agency over her own body is one of those freedoms. It is not for men to decide if a woman can be sexualised or not, it is up to that individual woman to present herself as sexualised or as “modest” as she sees fit. Forcing modesty on women takes away accountability from men who are unable to control their sexual urges, because they have been socialised to view women as sexual objects and property, rather than as individual human beings with their own ideas and desires.
Your views are antiquated and oppressive. Hypersexualisation of women is not a female problem, it is a male one. You do not fix is my oppressing a woman’s right to show skin. You fix it by teach men to fucking behave themselves.
>Show me a real life example of the opposite, where men are asked to dress modestly so they’re not hypersexualisated by women.
Sure, when I go out to the mall, I can't wear shorts or tank tops. If my thighs or shoulders are exposed they fine me 250 SAR which is equivalent to about $67. If the security guard is having a good day they'll just tell me to go back home and change. It's the same for women.
>The part that you keep dancing around is the fact that women in Saudi Arabia have their freedoms and rights held by men. Even in recent years, they are only gaining certain rights and freedoms because their male dominated system of government.
Yes, I do think this is an issue. I definitely want to see more women in the government in decision-making positions at the ministerial level. 51.8% of university students in Saudi Arabia are women. A lot of my female colleagues went to Oxford and other great universities abroad and at home. It'd be a shame for that education to go to waste.

I agree that the person sexualizing another is at fault, but I disagree that the victim should not be protected from such acts in a deterrent manner. It is not a man or woman's choice for them to be sexualized. Because being sexualized is something that happens to you, by an external actor, where you don't have any say in it. It is by definition non-consensual.
American and European media is obsessed with sex, and the reason for that is it makes them a shit ton of money. Making women fight in bikinis in front of a crowd of men is *not* teaching men how to behave themselves. It teaches men to look at women as sexual objects rather than appreciate the thousands of hours of training they put in to reach a certain level of athleticism.
In most of the civilized world (ie not Saudi Arabia or other BACKWARDS countries stuck in the middle ages), men don't create laws that dictate what women wear. Instead, people express themselves however they want to.
This ideology comes from a philosophy built around freedom of expression, democractic governments, free speech, human rights, right to live free from violence, discrimination, freedom from and of religion, and so on it goes.
However I can definitely see your prospective - these concepts may be scary, foreign, or novel to your people since your country's laws are similar to where western civilization was at during the medieval period. That lasted from the 5th to late 15th century. So I can appreciate how it's almost like we're communicating from the future - but in reality, we're in the present.
lol, sure bud. Those are all fake social constructs that you gave a euphemistic name to feel good about yourself. You guys are the most degenerate and disgusting people out there. Too bad you're too dumb and arrogant to see that. saudi arabia really made them look like they just rolled out of bed and ran to the arena huh?
Apparently it's fine to see them in their regular attire on Tv but not in person?
I thought they didn’t air womens matches in Saudi Arabia?
They barely air any matches. Only raw is podcasted here and it’s cut to 1.5 hrs. Some time the women make it and sometimes they don’t, depending on where they are placed on the show.
They likely meant broadcasted
Completely pedantic, he meant broadcast. It's the same present and past tense.
🙄 no dude. In my country you can watch sports on TV and you can listen to it in the radio. I fought he meant something like that.
In a big country, dreams stay with you
They seemed to know the main female wrestlers at least so they must watch them
Wrestling friends !
“I’M **NOT** YOUR **FOHKIN’** ***FRIEND*** **!!**
Sasha and Bianca: “FUCK YOU”
These three have insane chemistry lmao
Three of the best in the business hands down.
This was hilarious
Unpopular opinion: For as good as she is, Sasha is too inconsistent to be considered one of the best. Especially when you have people like Asuka, Bayley, snd Io on the roster who are far more consistent.
This used to be my opinion, but I think she's improved greatly in the last year and a half.
Ah, I just realized I should clarify my stance. My problem with Sasha is that once she starts building momentum, she suddenly disappears for one reason or another. So I find it hard to get invested in her. She's talented, but wildly inconsistent.
That has nothing to do with her talent or ability tho
I'm sorry, but it does... But that doesn't mean I am saying Sasha is bad. She has her place in the championship running, but I wouldn't trust building a division around her unless she was commited.
You don't need to have the division built around you to be considered one of the best. Take Eddie Guerrero as an example
Eddie was certainly someone who could have a division built around him. He was also incredibly consistent, eve with his demons.
I loved that bit. Just wish Sasha and Bianca did something cooler and more devastating with her instead of just throwing her in the turnbuckle. Would have made the moment more awesome. What Becky did called for a big time spot.
I missed the majority of the initial Becky run. So I'm pretty much a blank slate when it comes to her The Man persona. I absolutely hated her when she squashed Bianca. Felt it was very Charlotte-esque thing to do.
But since then, I'm starting to really enjoy her heel run. She does the "funny, sneaky but still legit" type heel well. I don't mind her as champ. I still want Bianca to get her belt back but I am enjoying Big Time Becky.
Instead of giving credit to the women on the match, people are focusing more on their clothes, disrespectful & odd.
criticism of WWE enabling a sexist, patriarchal society is still valid.
I have A TON of criticisms of Saudi Arabia, but the idea that we judge levels of female empowerment by how much of their bodies others can look at feels…strange
You're thinking about it the wrong way. It's not that it's empowering to wear more revealing clothing on its own, it's that it is objectively disempowering to told what one has to wear.
But that’s the case regardless right? Like if a woman wanted to wrestle topless, she’d be told no, and I think most people would find that normal. All that shit is pretty arbitrary
Roman and Brock wrestled topless, wonder what the difference is.
Welp, Becky Lynch is a treasure.
I love a good chicken shit heel gets caught spot
Bex is hilarious. When Big Time Becks is done, I want the LassKicker to return. Backstage Puns are missed.
Why no audio?
