See how these say “homeopathic” - that’s one sign that there’s actually very little active ingredient in them. (Nothing on the label seems to say exactly how much of each salt is in there, unlike salt pills.) Homeopathic is a category of goods that got a legal carve-out in the 1930s because a US Congressman was a snakeoil salesman and felt his stuff shouldn’t get regulated out as they updated the Food and Drug Administration (the FDA.) Again, this doesn’t list doses of each salt in there, but I wouldn’t be surprised - based on my knowledge of other Hyland’s products - if this was basically a chalk tablet that had a sprinkle of salt in it. If you look at the online reviews, they’re more people who believe in the spiritual goodness of the idea than people saying it’s effective. They’re like “cell salts”, sounds great! Thoughts and pears… Good news is homeopathic stuff won’t kill you, generally. It’s again designed to be very very low doses of the main ingredient (in this case, salt.) It’s sold in this manner because the US government doesn’t do much regulation on this product type, due to law carve-outs. Salt pills are labeled as Dietary Supplements - they’re going to be more effective at delivering salt to you. Now, the FDA doesn’t regulate ‘supplements’ the same as it does food or medicine (hence the reason why every Youtuber, podcast host, and anybody wants to sell you a good supplement) - so buy from a reputable company and attempt to update US regulations on products. Dietary upplements should become listed under drugs, like “drugs that haven’t been proven to benefit.” Homeopathic should also be folded into that category - it’s essentially like a sprinkle of ‘Holy water’ to help clear a cold. The idea that you can be healed through very miniscule amounts of a main ingredient is its leading principle.

I have EDs and pots myself. I live in Virginia. I was diagnosed with svt last month too. And I can’t take a hot shower or bath. As a kid my doctor didn’t know about POTs so I was told to eat pretzels due to low blood pressure. Lol but I hate them. This looks like a good alternative.
