We just watched you push it in.... Stick the nut on it!

GlemChally

So nuts can hold things in place? Interesting!

juantzutree

It's pretty high tech, developed from the space race days.

TheTwatter

They're a natural adhesive!

AnalogFeelGood

Gasp*

Jazzlike_Fan_9010

Yeah they do that, especially if you put dielectric grease on them. You can clean off the boot and seal with a brush if it bothers you, or just hold it in place while you tighten the fastener so it doesn’t pop off the spark plug. Have seen misfires because people thought it was on the spark plug, turn out it was secured to the side of it.

happisock

Hit it with a hammer.

[deleted]

Gotta be, at least, a 6 pounder to make it stick.

zertoman

There could be oil down there causing the resistance.

5hlonga

Twist it as you put it on to let the air out, and they put a bolt or nut on it for a good reason.

Own-Twist7227

It is back in..put the bolt in and let it go

Apprehensive-Scar-66

It has a spring in side what’s that’s for

usuallyon05

The air under the coil pack can't escape.

Additional_Ebb5944

Just throw a nut on the threads right by it

thatguyjacob5

If you did plugs check and make sure the spark plug socket rubber piece isn’t stuck in there on top of the plug.
