Hot water and shop vac hose, the sound it made being sucked up really didn't settle right with me.
Had to wait for it to get clogged into the vac hose and gently pull it up and out.
Sadly our store doesn't have this in the ops supply menu, only beverage tower drain cleaner, which I also tried to let sit over night a couple days prior.
You guys pour your drinks out in that? The McDonald's I work at we have a 5 gal bucket under the drink station and whenever we need to dump any kind of liquid out it goes in there. And when it's about half way full we take it to the mop sink to pour out and be rinsed.
Oh no, we just throw entire drinks into the trash can. I'm trying to make them stop and at least pour them out first cuz it's just a mess when the bags rip. But yes, tea urns have always been drained into that floor drain for as long as the store has been open.

Sugar snake!
That's not just tea.
Omg I can smell this video.
Tbh, it smelled like ripened/fermenting banana peels
Bioshield works wonders as well.

This makes me want to pour a whole bottle of that green drain cleaner down my store's drains. 😭
Forbidden snek
That's what we call a sugar snake

Bacteria Snake I don't think that's sugar. I think that's a biofilm. Source: am a microbiologist.
Sure looked and felt "bio-y"
I literally thought this was a fucking eel that you just fished out of a drain oml- 💀
Felt like it, it looked like it was living
after everything I've gone through at my store I would've never been able to top this
One time someone accidentally dropped their vape down that lol
Took one of these out once… inside a soda machine.
Tasty
"The sweet tea isn't *that sweet*" And people wonder why I don't drink sweet tea
Ahhh as a former Zaxbys manager this stuff was in all the drains. Never knew it was sugar lol
The weirdest thing is how it smelled like banana peels. Definitely the weirdest thing I've personally sucked out of a drain.
Sugar doesn't belong in tea anyway.
Agreed

Customers do this at our soda machine, dump ice/drinks in the trash when theres a drain right there for it. Ugh
What’s in half of peeps who eat fast food lol
Is that not giant scoby? Seems more reasonable then sugar
