What is a movie you have rewatched the most?

Misterwright123

kill bill pulp fiction starship troopers 1 what about you?

naoisn

Starship troopers is badass, still holds up today.

S-Markt

im doing my part. the enemy cannot push a button if you disable his hand. MEDIC!

HMS404

In a moment of brain fart I thought what about you is a movie and felt that's an interesting name for a movie.

Visible-Librarian880

What about Bob?

souviks1998

Ocean’s eleven. Not in my top ten but extremely rewatchable.

Pinky2110

Robinhood in tights, spaceballs, blazings saddles, Monty pythons holy grail

Visible-Librarian880

Ain't it sad 90 percent of them are too offensive to show on tv anymore especially blazing saddles.

Pinky2110

Because some people don't look at the plot, they just look for what they can be offended about and jump up and down when they find something that they can claim is offensive

corporalUpham666

Shawshank. Have to watch it anytime it’s on

souviks1998

Same :-)

Uik44

My favourite movie definitely

mchughxzsfgv

Hard to narrow it down. I’ve watched The Boondock Saints a whole lot. Due Date (RDJ and Zach Galifianakis). Tropic Thunder. Lord of the Rings.

Hesitated_Mark

Actually a relatively new one: Arrival

Life_Job_3131

Airplane ✈ classic 👌

BuckfastNinja

Just looking at Tuco makes me feel unclean!!

xerxes_dandy

My cousin vinny

HMS404

Did you say yutes?

xerxes_dandy

The two what.....what was that word

kels_sees

I didn't have cable TV growing up. And I swear this movie was on every fucking Sunday forever. So unwillingly I have seen this many times because it was always on the damn TV Sundays.

HMS404

Lord of the Rings. The one movie to rule them all.

VisionInPlaid

The one movie to find them.

Lord___Sauron

I watched it over 400 times to make cosplay of Saurons Armor.

Tiwaz84

And one sentence, that said it all.

Lifekraft

I have this anecdot. I moved out after losing my job and the new appartment i got didnt have internet yet. I had to wait one month for it. The only thing i had was an old computer , 2 screen and the full lotr trilogy. For one month, during unemployement , my second screen was running 18h a day lotr 7/7. It was a blast.

HMS404

There is no praise in Elvish, Entish, or the tongues of Men for this dedication.

le_Grand_Archivist

I think it may be Tron Legacy It was my favorite movie when I was a boy

jbscaf2

I watched the crap out of the original, also when I was a boy. You wanna call up Disney and pitch the third one together?

le_Grand_Archivist

Oh yeah a new one would be fun

JP8825

Terminator 2

elle_is_lost

I know now why you cry. But it's something I can never do. Right in the feels 💥

WatchingInSilence

Watching John with the machine, it was suddenly so clear. The Terminator would never stop. It would never leave him, and it would never hurt him. Never shout at him or get drunk and hit him or say it was to busy to spend time with him. It would always be there. And it would die to protect him.

LockjawTheOgre

Hot Fuzz It doesn't seem like it at first, but this is a cinematic masterwork.

reddit_rendered_name

Back to the future Back to the future 2 Back to the future 3

tingulz

This. Best trilogy ever.

FlakyDrop

But why the third one?

Jw603

Third is still my first pick. Maybe I've seen 1&2 too many times.

Coffee_666

Saving private ryan.

JardexXmobilecz

Thats my second. My 1st is most likely hacksaw ridge.

Coffee_666

Haven't seen it but I need to.

JardexXmobilecz

Do it. Its insane how good it looks.

MadreDePeque-Spain

Good one! Seen it at least 15 times

panaphobic1

Are you sure you don't mean saving Ryan's privates?

Akira

darthraxus

Deadpool, Harry Potter, Star Wars and BTTF.

ISmellLikeCigarettes

Iron man 1,2 and 3

ManySleeplessNights

Iron man 1 is one of my favourite MCU films, no flashy alien tech, no life or death battles where the fate of the universe is at stake, just a billionaire in a cave with a box of scraps, and pure good fun.

TammyIsTired

Hot Fuzz

souviks1998

Everytime I see this mentioned somewhere I get a strong urge of watching it again.

TammyIsTired

Same

Durhay

For the greater good

TammyIsTired

THE GREATER GOOD

Scoocho

Joe dirt. I had no cable and it was the only tape I had. I watched it probably 50 times. It got to a point that I had it memorized and often found myself talking just like the character. "You shouldn't make fun of Joe Dirt". I am missing my mullet today.

Hrnghekth

Yeah I love this movie too. The structure of using the radio interview to tell the story, and then having the story catch up to the interview and continuing the story from there is something that blew my mind when I first watched it lol. What should be a dumb comedy is super well put together, has tons of heart, and in my opinion goes deeper than just a dumb comedy. Joe Dirté. Don't fancy it up, DIRT.

The Lion King. I watched it twice a day everyday for a couple months, then once a day for a few more months after that. Easily seen it 200+ times. At one point I knew the whole movie word for word. I can still recite a few scenes, and know all the songs.

BuckfastNinja

Trainspotting. Had a TV/VHS combo when I moved back in with my folks after uni and the only VHS I had was trainspotting. Good job I loved the film, I watched it nightly for about 2 years!!

musicfan251

The Princess Bride. Favorite movie of all time. I watch it at least once a year, bit normally average 3-4 times a year.

queerdaffodil

Probably The Princess Bride. I can practically quote the entire thing start to finish at this point (reenacting the battle of wits scene, from “so. It is down to you, and it is down to me.” to vizzini’s death, is actually a bit of a party trick of mine), but I will never get tired of it. The only movie I’ve ever seen that was just as brilliant as the book.

Throwie911

jurassic park trilogy

tomorrowistomato

Probably The Wizard of Oz. It used to be a family tradition that we watched it every Halloween. I'm not sure why. And I know I watched it other times outside of that.

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. I loved that movie and I wish there was more. Im thinking of reading the manga? Or is it a novel?but I’ve loved that movie since I was 4. If it’s playing I’ll sit down and watch it till the end. When I learned that bestbuy sold anime seasons and movies, I went to check it out and the moment I saw it, was the moment I grabbed it and went to buy it right away. I’ve watched it a lot.

Many-Connection3309

The Green Mile still entertains me every time I see it. Every single character was perfect for their part.

OtakuMusician

The Big Lebowski. It's been a family favorite for as long as I can remember and I've enjoyed it since I was a kid, even if I didn't comprehend every joke. Now I'm engaged to someone who also grew up with and loves it. So it's a regular rewatch.

Holiday Girls #6. It was really good. Well is...

elle_is_lost

Lawless, Bronson, Honey Boy, Peanut Butter Falcon, Fight Club. Hard up, because they've been comfort movies for long periods intermittently. I would guess Bronson is probably the winner.

It's a tie between Edward Scissorhands, Minority Report, and the 2003 remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. And Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

cool_n_needy

For some reason Spanglish is the kind of weird wholesome comedy drama that I need in rough times, being raised by a single mum pretty similar to the one in Spanglish it just makes me feel home. I do it every year or so.

We had movie 'traditions in my fam while growing up, long time ago...much of it had to do with broadcast 'programming'. Fast forward, different reasons, same seasons, our 'traditional' family movies that we watch seasonally or just whenever they come on are.... drumroll... Adults : Appcalypto - Spring and Fall, usually around Easter and Thxgvng. The Shawshank Redemption - anytime. Personal: Ex Machina. Contact. Any Warren Miller (skiing) movie narrated by WM. An American President - anytime. Family: A Princess Bride (Spring/Fall), Akira and the Bee, (Summer), Fly Away Home (Spring), Polar Express.
