This is what owning a blower card feels like
My husband does not have a Reddit, so asked me to comment this for him, hope it helps!
"I have had a 5700xt for over a year and it has been 65535 since i put a water block on it. There is nothing wrong with your card. I have tried everything to get it to zero or a lower number but the default "zero" for fan speed is 65535. Don't worry there is nothing wrong with your card just AMD drivers not having an option for full cover waterblock setting that disables the fan header."
Eli Musk- "To the moon!"
Had that happen to a powercolor 5700xt the fans quit working entirely no amount of DDU for the drivers or unplugging and reinstall the card could change it had to RMA it
You have a waterblock on there right? thats what it did for me once I installed a Water Block
No water block stock sapphire pulse fan
install trixx run fan health check and see what it says ?
haha funny fan goes brrrr
Aaand we have liftoff!
How are you able to display the speed of your fan
This was a stress test
So the machine was stressed and the fans were maxed out?
A little more than maxed out granted my fans are 2 jet turbines.
I get this on my watercooled gfx where nothing's plugged to the fan header. This is the maximum integer value and developers use either int-min or int-max when there's no real value to display
Hey at least the GPU is cool
I think the problem is that they are spinning too fast :) hope this helps
Did your computer take off?
Where did you get your fans? I just want to buy them my friend
When a fan takes 'Go beyond your limits' too literally
Fans out here acting like a Shonen protagonist
Boeing is now hiring. Please mention your RPMs in the resume!
I have an Asus board that occasionally gives me weird fan numbers (and yes they're plugged into the correct places) and had to call Asus Support and what they had me do is get the last two BIOS updates and do the next to last one then the latest and it fixed my weird fan speeds. So just try reflashing the BIOS first then go do the next to last then the last (or newest whichever the case may be) in other words go one back. Stay with me.
when in doubt reflash
thats how it acts if you got like your cpu fan plugged into case fan slot
check your fan headers see if you plugged it in wrong or if the pins are bent or damaged switch em around check your bios power connections ect
Send this jet to mars please
It’s trying to send your computer into orbit It’s trying to send your computer into orbit lmaooooo
It’s trying to send your computer into orbit It’s trying to send your computer into orbit It’s trying to send your computer into orbit lmaooooo
That’s what mine says because I have nothing plugged into the fan port. I’m water cooled.
Hold on to it with diamond hands!!! It's going to the moon!!!!
It's gonna take off Mr. Stark!
that looks like the rpm of a ps4
Hey it’s keeping those temps down lol
Imagine if we actually had a CPU fan that could hit those RPM
Jesus. Rigs gonna take off It don't chill out
Cool. Well thought.
It’s beginning to believe.
I'm a fan of this party
your fan just went super saiyan
Fan go zoom
It's just hot give it a minute they'll slow once it cools. Lmao
*It's just hot give it*
*A minute they'll slow once it*

I'd bolt my pc to my the floor if i were you!
You have a helicopter
Just for information purposes, an average helicopter rotor rotates anywhere from 400 to 500 rpm.
he meant spaceship
It's not reading the fan RPM correctly
Yes I can see that
Then I'm not sure what you're asking. That's what's up with your fan speed.
Probably need to reinstall the software
I did reinstall the software, but the moment I open up the game, rpm jumps to 65535 RPM. Do you know how do I fix it ?
1. Uninstall the software
2. Restart the computer
3. Download [CCleaner](https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner)
4. Run the registry cleaner (when it asks you if you want to back up your registry settings, click YES)
5. Keep running the registry cleaner (backing up each time) until either no more entries show up, OR until the same 2 or 3 entries keep showing up
6. Restart the computer
7. Download the software and re-install it
8. Restart the computer (lol, just to be safe)
Run the software again and see if it's working. If not,
I wanted the solution and you gave it thank you.
Fan go brrrrr (but loudly too)
Your pc might aswell fly at this point
Maybe you got a novideo card instead ayyyy
Chill it is telling the M1 MacBook Air how good fans are
You can now use your gpu to fly to mars
Make sure to strap down the PC to the desk or else it may fly away
Ah I'd like to warmly welcome you to our club, take a seat.
It is now a helicopter.
i mean, it's fast
Inject the nos
You are making a black hole with that RPM
Why is it acting like 38c is hot? Lol
It's TURBO TIME!
You have uganda choppa.
Fan go brrrr
keep your fingers clear!
My Adrenaline program has always showed fan speed this way and still does.. What bug? Ive never seen it normal
Maybe a bug would display the actual rpm’s
Congratulations your gpu can now be used as a hover board
It's just a bug just re open the software after completely closing it from task manager
It's a bug, and sometimes it's because of the fan quality sensor picks noise.
fan go brrrrrrrrr
Not plugged in properly
Ayyy that’s the exact same rpm mine says, for me it’s because my fan cable is not plugged into the pcb
Same here. I'm on LC and nothing is connected to the card.
Does it fly now?
It's beginning to believe...
Stop trying to cool me, and *cool me*.
GAZ GAZ GAZ
How loud it is? If its quite then its driver bug, if not your graphics card has been converted into a helicopter
38° Is high for that RPM dude...
Eagle 2, ready for takeoff.
what software are you using to check the temps
That's Radeon Software
DDU your drivers, install fresh ones.
Fun fact... 65535 is 255x255, which in networking terms is 16 bits turned on. Likely a logical hiccup when translating bits
This is a basic level programming fuck up. AMD need to do better. I’ve seen my RVII doing this with various values, while also failing to manage its power state, frequency and fans to the point of it being a paperweight for most of its life.
Your helicopter appears to be working fine.
Your gpu is ready to launch
Punch it Chewie!
You about to fly. Prepare for lift off
Playing flight sim helicopter edition without buying it.
At least you get a cool gpu
Preparing to exit the atmosphere
amd software master race
your PC will take off!
everybody gangsta till your pc starts flying
It's over 9000!
What 9000 that's impossible! Proceeds to break monitor.
I think you accidentally started the helicopter mode of your gpu
That number is the maximum number that an unsigned short (16bit) integear contain. This is probably a bug with the software due to an underflow. if the fan was stopped yet the reading was something like -1 rpm, the value would become the largets possible number that an unsigned short can display, which is 65535.
I should have read more comments before I commented. You explained it way better than I did haha
Thanks how do I fix it?
Try restarting your PC
I did didn't change anything.
Cpu 3600 ryzen
Ram 3600 mhz 16gb
Motherboard asus tuf gaming wireless x570
Psu corsair 550cxm grey
Issue fan speed is ridiculously high
How did you even get 21.4.1? I'm up to date with the latest (not recommended) and still at 21.3.2
If it was 65k rpm I would have a helicopter in my room.
that's a hell of an estimate lmao
A helicopter on Mars more like
