Definitely looks like American culture 😂 cops can't even handle some teenagers without using excessive force smh

*YOU* try getting called an A-Hole and not committing 2nd degree murder! >:(

>lot of hate for America All of it is 110% justified. If anything, people go too easy on America.

America =/= Americans

Exactly, I'm actually quite patriotic, but my stance on politics is fuck all sides. They don't care about the citizens, just lining their buddie's pockets. We're a land of opportunity, many a people I know changed their entire lives here for the better. It's just we have such a problem with media, and radicalized idealism that's split a big majority of people into groups and pitted them against each other. Just look at the major news stations and the Kyle Rittenhouse case. They pumped out misinformation the whole trial and people are still quoting them with information that's been disproved in the courtroom with testimonies and video evidence. America's strength is about banding together, not separated and tearing each other apart. Love your neighbor, we're all in this place together.

Do you see the massive problem with the police's behavior here? In this video do you see a problem with tasing a high schooler? I don't know if the divide is fully media driven. Seems like a right-fringe fantasy. Kyle Rittenhouse drove across state lines with a gun he cannot legally own to act as a vigilante and protect a car dealership (not his property) from people violently protesting the unjust and unpunished murder of yet another black man, then proceeded to kill two in an inevitable self defense situation. He walked with zero charges, including buying the gun illegally in his home state. Is it possible people are legitimately, independently pissed when **that lethal and illegal string of choices** is going unpunished?

Wow, even after the trial wrapped up, people are still pulling out the false "brought an illegal weapon across state lines" narrative? Really easy to tell which people didn't pay attention at all.

>Not all Americans are horrible. Not all. Just a shockingly enormous portion of Americans.

>cop culture You know, most countries don’t have cops patrolling schools? That’s American culture. Once they’re there the cops might go overboard and that could be called cop culture. But the idea of policing schools in the first place, that’s American culture. I spent 12 years in the Australian public school system, not once did I see a cop on school grounds.

Fuck that. Americans love this shit. Motherfuckers all around me fucking jerk off to shit like this. Our entire culture is built around sucking cop and military dick.

if you haven’t seen anyone jerking off over shit like this maybe take a peek at the right. it’s kinda there whole thing edit: or this comment section fuck some of the comments are gross

**Some** Americans. Not all of us like this shit.

>I see a lot of hate for America here. Murica have totally brought it on themselves though. You can't exactly start a new neverending war every 3 years and reinvigorate fascism and expect no one to criticize you.

Genuinely, how did America get this broken? I don't know how it comes back from this.

It doesn't. America was never together.

>how did America get this broken? Take 2 parts systemic racism, 1 cup of imperialism and a heaping scoop of unfettered capitalism, whisk together and bake for 244 years.

I don’t have that kinda time… can I nuke it instead?

Genuinely I don't think this is the place to ask. You will get a number of "America has always been broken" comments without any consideration for protests of all manner of things throughout the world. Protest is very human. Some historical context is important when considering the treatment of protest in the US though (and certainly there is a history of those in power coming down hard on protests in the States). Maybe r/askhistorians, as a well-worded, sincere question to them about the history of civil rights, workers' rights, and more in the US.

Well, the police were originally slave patrollers, so that might help you understand.

If you really want to know, letting the South off the hook for the Civil War is a root cause of a lot of today's problems. We had a chance to make utopia, but completely squandered it.

They can't handle anything without using excessive force.

He doesn’t even use a takedown move, just grabs that girl and yanks her by the hair over and over. Coward abusing a young woman with no repercussions

Jesus fucking Christ that enraged me

Cops doing cop shit. Next move will be some paid vacation for those fucks while the bastards they work with investigate them and find that the use of force was within their policy. What a bunch of fucking pussy bastards.

Makes sense in our culture, wherein the abusers are rewarded and the victims are blamed and made to suffer

It’s a high school. It’s a coward abusing a child with no repercussions.

Sure his wife is one lucky lady. By lucky I mean he beats her anytime he does not the respect he demands.

It's Texas, that is average Texas behavior.

Isn’t there a single adult there ?

The adults are busy punishing that kid for being sexually assaulted.

The adults are too busy sexually assaulting that kid

Theres a woman sticking her finger in the cops face. It gives “you should be ashamed” type of vibes.

No. That is a CHILD sticking their finger in a cops face. The fucking children know better.

The adults are why this happens

The adults in this situation started it and are the reason the kids feel they have to act to protect their own

Would you be THERE in exchange for a teacher’s salary?

It seems adults only exist by technicality in America

Doubt it

What would the adult do? Arrest the cop?

Kids gonna do more time than Kyle

The fact that that slimeball crossed state lines and danced on the elicit definitions of “self defense” while being provided a biased jury and handkerchief judge to get away with literal murder while these kids will probably be ruined for the rest of their life makes my blood boil.

The crossing state lines citation is starting to turn into a "who paid any attention to the evidence and who is still reciting media talking points" Dude deserves some kind of punishment, but he basically lives on state lines, and regularly crosses it.

Its almost as if laws exist no matter how little a distance you travel. Just because he regularly crosses state lines doesn't mean laws about crossing those state lines dont apply to him

What laws are you even talking about?

I'd assume they are referring to the differences in states' laws. As in, every state has its own laws and living on the border doesn't change the jurisdictions

Loll dude you so clearly didn’t pay attention to the trial. The gun was stored in Kenosha. Are you saying it was somehow illegal for him to just travel to Kenosha?

Yup, he's acquitted and now America has set a precedent that teenagers can go to conflicts in other states armed with the most efficient people killers that anyone they know happens to possess

Did he not illegally purchase a gun underage?

What kind of punishment does he deserve ? The jury and the court determined he didn’t deserve any kind of punishment. I agree people shouting the media bs didn’t watch the court case unfold, but what kind of punishment does he deserve? Decided by the people? Well it was. He was found not guilty. I’d argue many people chose a side without knowing all of the facts. Same thing is happening right now with this video. Shit is happening at school, people are angry (mostly young teens), and there is going to be consequences. People can spotlight what’s going on (they should), however there needs to be a civil way to go about things for all sides involved.

I don't understand how any rational person cannot see the dangerous loopholes and tiptoeing around the truth that happened during that trial. You can see the dangerous precedent this makes, it's baffling.

Victims don’t usually take back their lie and self incriminate with the truth on the stand … pretty wild

Came for the “state lines” meme… stayed for the “setting a dangerous precedent”. Lmao my sides at the COPE. Prime, smoothbrain NPC’s can’t objectively research and see the evidence

I don’t know why y’all say state lines as if it matters

Lmao State lines discussion is a meme. It’s the quickest way to show you’re misinformed. Why not mention the trash prosecution? They were the real problem. Shit witnesses (one of which was a “victim”, withheld evidence and more. Next you’ll post he was a huwhyte supremacissstt!!! Seethe and Cope harder.

Well I certainly can tell you didn’t watch any of the trial, actually read any of the evidence presented, and are just spewing the same garbage media sensationalized headlines. It’s a shame when you’re so blinded by tribalism that you can’t even understand logic or facts. I truly feel sorry for you.

Guess the country… 🤗

I’ll take a wild guess…mmm…’merica specifically Little Elm, Texas. I live 15 mins from there and I’m not surprised at this at all. Students acting a fool (prob better ways to protest for the student who was sexually assaulted but wutdoiknowww) and cops using force on teenagers.

Used to live in Denton. I'm honestly just proud of the kids for protesting for their friend and standing up. Super proud for an area that is usually pretty conservative.

My only hope for our future is this new generation. The old ones screwed us HARD. And not just in our country, but our country has really made a mess of this world

I can’t imagine looking at this clip of students, children, protesting and somehow still turning it back around and criticize the kids for “acting a fool”. The adults in their lives are failing them, but yeah let’s put a portion of the blame on them for not protesting the right way.

i agree. these kids are standing up for what is right and speaking out for their fellow students who are being assaulted in front of their very eyes. the only ones “acting a fool” are the adult police officers who are abusing their power.

Big respect for the guy who put his dukes up against the cops. The one thing the state cannot tolerate is a challenge to it's monopoly on violence no matter how insignificant. The results speak for themselves.

Is this standard protocol for the us police? This doesn’t seem very rationally to me.

It's not rational bit it totally is protocol. Beat anyone that doesn't do what you say and make the beating so violent they can't follow any orders after so they can keep beating you

and then punish them for not following those orders even though they are incapacitated.

Don't forget to handcuff the corpse.

This is absolutely normal cop behavior/actions in the us

Well yes and no because no POC was murdered.

One was tased and another snatched by her hair..so.. Not quite bloodless. You know how many people of color are injured for life by police but not killed, like Jacob Blake.. A fucking lot.

This is standard for us police. There really is no protocol as police have what's called qualified immunity meaning they can do whatever they want without repercussions.

Their repercussions are PTO.

No worse punishment than not being able to abuse people for a couple of days. Must be real hell for their families.

If my classmate was being punished for being sexually assaulted I would also be pissed and running around in a righteous fury. Teenage kids brains aren’t even functioning properly. The cops should be there trying to figure out why a kid who was sexually assaulted is being punished rather than traumatizing all the other kids.

Bingo. I'm with the kids. Everyone staffed in that schools administration should be fired.

Apropos “fired”, these cops are lucky this appears to be the exception American school where no student has a gun.

There has to be another reason... surely they aren't being punished for just being sexually assaulted??? If so wtf low iq level shit is this... The Justice system is outdated and currupt but this? This is just a failed country if stuff like this is happening

Have you been to the US? It is the definition of a failed country.

I live in the us lol I know all the bs but never expect a child to be punished for sexually being assaulted

Texas is far from an inbred hillbilly state. There’s tons of wealth here.

What does wealth have to do with being an inbred, hillbilly state?! Nothing.

100% possible. This was 15 years ago but when I was in high school I was relentlessly sexually harassed and assaulted. Groped followed hands shoved down pants by these 3 guys. They did it in class with everyone watching. Would drag me outside. Not a single person gave a shit and I got to the point I was absolutely desperate to get away. I finally set the faculty bathroom on fire. I just wanted a way out. I was obviously expelled, the next school put me in in-school suspension for the school year “for my protection”. (I told them why I did what I did and they believed me. But I was a “problem student now). That was difficult to write, I haven’t spoken about it in years and never anyone except my SO and school administration at the school I was transferred. There could be a lot going on, and I do not put it beyond possibility. Fuck ok, time to cry!

Here’s an article about it. The girl assaulted was accused of “allowing it” than suspended for making false accusations against the boy. Then the student body decided that wasn’t cool. https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/police-respond-to-calm-things-down-after-disruption-during-protest-at-little-elm-hs/2820925/

I went to a hick school in an otherwise blue state and this behaviour from the school is absolutely normal. Dismiss the claims till you can't anymore then try to silence them, if the poor kid hasn't killed themselves yet you punish them both under the guise of some "zero tolerance" BS, except the victim gets twice the time.

At least those kids will become adults and join the fight to make this world less of a shit hole.

It took me quite a long time to realize that „man bear pig“ is used as an „climate warming crisis“ analogy in South Park but I’d say yes man bear pig is also awful

Lol fuck all cops

Fucking class traitors, every single one of them.

lol the MAGA airheads here who are trying to defend this.

The same MAGA airheads who paint their child soldier, Kyle, as some sort of hero and not a tragic story of the shit shape our country is in.

People saying "You can't square up with a cop." This kid was one on two. Even *if* he was going to throw a fucking punch, they already pepper sprayed him. There was no fucking reason for the tazer, you stupid fucks. There was no fucking excuse for that pig grabbing the girl by the hair and tossing her out. There's no fucking excuse for them to be throwing that kid off of him. None of this is excusable. Fuck these pigs. They need to rot, and if you support this action, so do you. All of this against the backdrop of a school admin throwing a sexual assault victim in ISS. Jesus fucking Christ. I hate this fucking state.

So why did they even attack him? He was literally just walking.

The cops look like they're escorting someone out (black hoodie at the start of this video) and the kid in the white hoodie tried to grab him (black hoodie) from behind

WTF did I just see?

Assault of a juvenile with a weapon on protected grounds (school.)

Welp, I give us 10 more years as a country.

This comment has remained widely unseen, but it's actually a sad reality that there is a high chance there will be another civil war. RemindMe! 10years

Shit I give it 3

"Hey America can you go fuck off or something?" - sincerely, the rest of the developed world.

On behalf of America, this video is proof that we’re well on our way to collapsing and fucking off from everyone. We’ll try to be out of your hair as soon as possible. Sorry about that.

Certified murica classic

News article: [NBC \(Local News\) - Police Called to ‘Calm Things Down' Use Stun Guns, Pepper Spray on Students; 4 Arrested](https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/police-respond-to-calm-things-down-after-disruption-during-protest-at-little-elm-hs/2820925/) > Video shows police officers in Little Elm using stun guns and chemical spray on students inside Little Elm High School Friday after being called to "calm things down" after an on-campus protest turned "disruptive." > > Little Elm police said four students were arrested for assaulting police officers in the incident at Little Elm High School and could face charges. Police said one of the officers suffered an injury and has been hospitalized with unknown injuries. > > Video recorded by students inside the school and obtained by NBC 5 shows an officer using a chemical spray on a student and then another officer using a stun gun when the student appears to lunge in the officer's direction. The video does not show the moments before the officer first used the chemical spray. After being hit by the stun gun, the student collapsed.

Calm things down = pepper spray and tasing them. Seems reasonable to me /s.

“One officer has been hospitalized with unknown injuries” I see what they did there. That poor officer is suffering due to kids being mean to him 😞

Don’t fucking joke it’s serious. He’s in a medically induced coma for a severely bruised ego. The doctors aren’t sure he’s going to make it..

Probably tazed or pepper sprayed himself

It's probably from breathing in the fumes from their pepper spray after using it indoors.

Us cops aren't even trained to calm shit down the fuck they where called for

Light It Up

These fucking yokel cops have no idea what they are doing

Little elm, Texas?

Yes, Texas. Because of course it was Texas.

I can honestly say, we’d have fucked those cops up back at our HS after witnessing that fuckery

Big same tho bro. 3? pfffft.

This is definitely United States

Fuck the police

I will say it again America is a fucking shithole

Anyone wanna enlighten my dumbass? What is going on here

Not sure in vid, but from what I gather a student was being sexually harassed by a classmate on the bus and after a while of trying to get him to stop and him only escalating she tried to get teachers involved but they saw the tapes and basically said that since she was talking to her assailant it was consent and suspended her when she tried to fight it

No wonder they called in the cops to make sure the students didn't make too much of a scene about a repeated sexual assault incident that happened on school where they just blamed/punished the victim for "asking for it". Not surprisingly though, the cops blew up the situation way beyond what it initially was by automatically reverting to tear gas, tasers and physically assaulting a bunch of teenagers because they couldn't properly handle/de-escalate a situation (as they are supposed to be paid to do) where teenagers were acting angry and cursing in a "threatening" matter apparently.

Cops aren’t paid to deescalate. At this point I think cops are literally paid to make videos like this and sow disruption. America will fall in the near future. Maybe even the decade.

Short story- one female student went to the administration to report sexual assault by a student. The administration said after speak with the male, she was a liar and gave her in school suspension. The school has a history of sweeping sexual harassment and assault report under the rug. Students stage a peaceful protest but the police rather than keeping calm and deescalating the situation came in confrontational and tasers ready. In the video, the male in the white was following the cops as they arrested a student they had just slammed into a table and wall. The man in the white reaches out to ask his friend if he was okay but cop pushed him and sprayed him with pepper spray. Blinded and coughing he begins to flail his arms and walk moving toward the cops then raises his arms To cover his face in anticipation of more pepper spray but instead they deployed 4 tasers into him and continued to taser him after he was passed out. Students were screaming that’s wrong etc. Then a girl tries to approach possibly spitting on a cop. He grabs her by the hair and manhandles this 100lb 15yo. I know this because my child was also in the videos. She was screaming Stop, this is so wrong, asking the girl if she was ok, and attempting to help another student who collapsed with a seizure. She was beaten with a stick by the cops and I have the images of her bruises. If I had inflicted bruises like they did I would be in jail for child abuse.

A student reported being sexually assaulted and was suspended. These students were protesting about it in the school. Not sure who started the violence from this video

My 2nd hand embarrassment from my own country gets worse with each recurring similar video 😑

Bro… seriously with this..?

North Texas represents! Take care of your people! That's what I'm fucking talking about! If my friends were assaulted and punished for reporting it, I'd be throwing hands too. I support this violence.

How big of a punk do you have to be to get in a fight with teenagers and have to use a taser and pepper spray?! These pussies instigated a fight with teenagers then pissed themselves and busted out a taser. Bunch of fucking cowards.

wow these bad asses tazed some kids. fire these paid goons. this is absurd behavior in a school.

America makes me sick. How do u ppl live there and go about your daily lives? It's just one disgusting news story after the other..

Back the blue. Yall support this shit?? For real.?? Oughta be ashamed of yall fucking selfs is what should be.

Did he get maced and hit with two tasers?

Took it like a champ till that second taser.

These people put their hands on their hearts and sing about how brave they are.

They sing about how it's the "land of the free" and "home of the brave." I only see control tactics and cowardice coming from the authorities.

Pigs need to be banned from schools unless it’s a shooting.

They just hide outside when there’s a shooting, remember?

Fire the damn principle. Do they hire anyone into education these days?

In Texas, yes, yes they do.

This is why cops are class traitor's. They only protect capital and capital owner's.

That cop started it with that kid in the white. Lawyer the F up!!!

Straight up punching high school kids

Public schools are meant to prepare your children to be slaves or criminals. Take them out.

This is America

It’s so sad that people can watch this and still be like “the cops are doing their job” I feel so bad for normal Americans who have to put up with this shit

Did that cop push the kid in white?

Looks like the officer pushed him away and then he put his arms up and rushed the other officer. You can’t do that. Then non-lethal force was used to subdue him. I don’t know how these kids were taught regarding law enforcement, but you sure as hell can’t make a move on them and expect to get away with it.

Cops also should be breaking up protests. Just because they are minors doesn't mean they don't have rights. I may be wrong, but so far no violence occurred until the cops came.

No violence occured until the schoolboy attacked the cop.

Tasers are explicitly *not* non-lethal. It’s called “less-lethal” for a reason

Between this shit daily and the failure to deliver justice between Arbery and Rittenhouse, I don’t know why people don’t start resisting more. FTP.

im so glad i dont work at a public school. scary shit.

These kids all learned a valuable lesson that they’ll carry with them for the rest of their lives. Police officers are not your friends. They don’t protect and serve. They simply act impulsively and power trip.

Lol wtf does that kid think would happen rushing at a cop? Dumbass 🙄

Dumb teenagers what did you think would happen?

These assholes should be arrested not fired and yet they won’t even be punished it’s fucking disgraceful

And administration is where? I work at a school, have done so for a decade. I have trusted some admins and not others, and I am aware there is a tight balance between being visible, being in the office for the administrative side of things, being a leader and role model for both students and staff, being a disciplinarian, etc. I get it. But if there is a student protest, you're spreading out admin to make a presence. Unless the crowd *scattered* and admin are dealing with a clear threat amongst somewhere else, from another sudden "branch" of the protest spreading out, one admin should be present here. I'm not saying that with benefit of hindsight: admin ought to have been present at the edge of any protest on campus, to oversee exactly this sort of situation where protesters and SROs clash for any reason whatsoever. Doing it right, they ought to be an advocate for students...

These are the worst cops I’ve ever seen - should all be punished
