THE HULA GIRL IS A REFERENCE! IT'S DAISYS VAN! DAISY!
Hate how this was literally me when I saw her
Same. I was like you're so sad. You're trying to look for anything that could be a reference
I got embarrassingly excited when I saw it
What other reason would there be for that to be there?
Honestly, hula girls are pretty common in vans. It's like that stereotypical hippie decal. I think the more direct reference was the Hydra Soak. Though, the hula girl was the exact same one as the one Cal has in 2x18.
I’m sure it was a different hula girl...
Nope. It's the exact same one as Cal's in 2x18. Different from Daisy's, but the same one as Cal's.
Same. I got excited with the Hydra soap and the hula girl but I want something definite. These are all awesome but they could easily be explained as coincidences
Patience. For now these are simple obscure callbacks, but the hope is that they are a sign of SHIELD potentially showing up on episodes 8 & 9
I think the hula girl is a teaser and that SHIELD will be in ep 8 or 9
okay but if we’re going the whole nexus route, what’s to say this is impossible??? – me, trying to convince myself the hydra soap and hula girl suggest they could bring our agents into the MCU
I mean even if you don’t think of SHIELD as MCU canon (which I’d disagree with - they can still be canon even if they’re in another timeline) you’re right that they can still turn up via nexus - I mean, we have Quicksilver
Didn't Yondu have one/some? Perhaps the aerospace engineer is Rocket?
I swear they spent I little to long on it, like it was important. Or maybe I’m just spiralling lmao- everything in that damn show is an aos reference I swear.
And let’s hope that’s a good sign 😃
Which hula girl?
the one in the van in episode 7, Darcy gets the keys off of it
In our defense blue hydra soap is pretty on the nose
if you watch the film theorists MattPatt actually says this is a reference to coulson mentioning the mind control soap. i was very giddy to see that.
Has this actually been confirmed? Because to me it seemed like an obvious reference to the blue jewel in Loki’s sceptre, the same sceptre that gave Wanda her powers and “unlocked her inner goddess”.
Plus it’s Hydra SOAK not soap. As in for bath water.
No it has not but when asked the showrunner got super cagey about it. And it's still soap, bath soap.
Also everyone acts like it can only be one or the other. It can only reference to SHIELD or it can only reference to Wanda's past, why not both?
I really hope someone says "WestView is a magical Place" aos fans will definitely lose it
Westview is a magical place
I love when they post parallel memes with scenes.
Seriously, sometimes my reaction to wandavision is Miranda Priestly from Devil Wears Prada saying "florals in spring? grounbreaking"
What are "stans?"
Fans but more hardcore.
Listen to Stan by Eminem, the term allegedly originated there but has evolved in meaning since then
fans but a lot more obssesed
It’s a word die-hard fans of a certain thing use to describe themselves. I’m not a huge fan of the word, especially due to its origins of being a shortening of “stalker fan”.
I’m pretty sure the origins are from the Eminem song “Stan”. I originally only saw ppl use Stan like that on Hip-hop pages/forums until it became popular on Twitter
It’s origin is Eminems song Stan. About a fan that was super obsessed.
When i seen that book im like is that the darkhold the comics made the dark hold look different few times why cant it be the same now same book different look. Morgan le faye already had it
I got excited when I saw the book but disappointed straight away when it didn't have the writing on the front
It looked like it was enchanted with some orang-y energy. If you noticed, the powers are all specifically color coded:
Red = Wanda
Purple = Agatha
Light Blue = Monica and Billy
Yellow (probably) = Vision
Azure = Quicksilver and Tommy
Who might be orange? Maybe the enchanting made it change cover design to hide its true title, or it just changed like in the comics.
My first thought with orange is Dr. Strange. But, all the people there can do orange magic as well.
You can't be talking about a superiority complex when you plague r/defenders and r/shield just to worship Feige and bash the shows. You really aren't a good person. Lol
Lol, sweetheart, the majority of mcu fans are so fed up with your kind.
Your superiority complex has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Also, aos is nowhere bear the best marvel show.
Okay I do have to agree that most MCU fans don’t watch aos but I think that mockingbird etc will get rebooted
Also, your kind? That's some really weird wording and drop the attitude while you're at it.
And do you realize where you're at? Everyone here would likely say S.H.I.E.L.D.'s the best show, just like how they'd say Daredevil was over at r/Defenders, or WandaVision at r/WANDAVISION, etc..
You literally only come here to start fights. Get a life, dude.
HULA GIRL IN THE VAN
ok but imagine if the cameo is robbies ghost rider
Anyone watch blind wave reactions on YouTube? They were huge agents of shield fans, one of them even name his son Coulson.
During their wandavision reaction it was priceless when the hula girl appeared, Aaron got so excited that it was an agents of shield reference for like three seconds and Eric just looked disappointed coz he knew it probably wasn’t...
I had only watched the first 15 or 20 minutes of the first episode and didn't like it. Finally got good when they introduced the outside world in episode 4, but I don't give most shows that many episodes to start getting interesting.
Ironic since most MCU fans complain that AoS also took a lot of episodes before getting interesting LMAO
I found AoS to be awesome from the first episode.
But I do hate sitcoms in general.
IMO the fourth episode was the weakest episode of the season. Just standard, generic, MCU SHIELD stuff, nothing interesting about it.
Yeah the sitcom style at the start was kinda weird
That.. was the point
That’s what I’m saying lol. The point was to make it seem things weren’t really as usual as one would think so. Y’know, to give the audience a little lee way
Yeah I don't understand people sometimes. That *literally* was the point of the sitcoms. I remember people disregarding the show when it was announced as the originally thought it was only gonna be a goofy sitcom. The realists knew from the start it was going to be *much* more than a sitcom show.
I mean anyone who watched the trailers should be able to figure that out
Yep. Its not like Agents of SHIELD didn't do purposefully weird stuff. Season 5 anyone? Or y'know Sarge
There are no AoS Stans, just AoS enjoyers. Have some dignity, only bitches are stans or fans
So by your logic, you’re an AoS Stan/fan?
