I always interpreted that Walt screaming made Skyler think he was enraged that she’d help Ted.
But when he began laughing, she realized that it wasn’t about Ted at all. It was so much worse than that
The unraveling of this scene is absolutely insane. The laugh is up there with the Joker to be honest, and that final camera shot of Walt is one of the best ever shot for TV.
I get excited everytime that episode comes up. I have watched the entire show an insane number of times. That scene blows me away EVERY DAMN TIME.
“It’s happening again.” 😱
Its taken straight from The Sopranos and inverted for Breaking Bad.

Every scene is mirrored. They are chiral universes.
It's funny, two of my favorite shows, BB and True Detective, do a similar framing during the last scene of their respective episodes. Walter, being boxed in by the crawl space door, and Rustin Cohle, being slowly boxed in by a broken door window frame. If ya'll haven't seen True Detective season 1 (The only one you need to see, really), then put down your newborn or whatever it is your doing and watch it now. 8 episodes of pure art.
Gotta appreciate how real some of the Breaking Bad scenes feel, and Crawl Space is one of those, they are so immersive it's like you forget you are watching fiction story in some moments
I love how when Cranston was laughing hysterically he added a few little subtle coughs in there that just made it feel so authentic. Phenomenal acting from everyone in that scene.
One of my favorite scenes. Just pure chaos. The whole story came together.
The story came together as Walt's world came apart
It really shows Bryan Cranstons phenomenal acting skills
bravo bince!
One of my favourite details is that it’s not Walt’s screaming that breaks Skyler, but his laughter.

I love that fucking scene
You gave our money to big chungus
This made me laugh harder than it should have

the scene makes for a great poster
Watched it live with my college roommates at the time. One of the most chilling scenes I've ever seen. Will never forget how I felt seeing that.
Agreed. You can really feel the emotion at the end of that episode.
The scream he does is the best part for me. You feel that shit. It felt real

Walter
Thank you
I watched it at 3 am, it gave me literal chills
Vince sure knows how to create tension and eeriness.
My #1 scene in the show!!! Absolutely marvelous acting
Then you obviously haven't seen Skylar singing Happy birthday

Just finished this episode last night! Intense! Fucking Ted…
IFT (I Funded Ted)
The way Walt went from screaming to laughing is *peak* acting right there.
Seeing that scene honestly made me speechless. And the silence after the whole scene in the credits. Damn.

It's directed like a horror scene. The cacophony is so well orchestrated and that slow pan out from the ceiling is amazing.
