Dude that is so clean man great job!!
What colors do you use for the fleshy bits?
The skin is primed wraith bone, base coated bone white. Thinned reikland flesh shade wash. Lightly drybrushed bone white. Then layered bone white + white. The muscle is simply carrumburg crimson wash and given a gloss coat
That job is so crisp and clean. It would be nice to see the entire army if you are doing one.
I am! I did a few test models but this is the first one in the army
Really sharp paint lines, good job
How did you achieve the spiky affect on the carapace, I've been wanting to do the same thing, but after many attempts with various methods, I can't seem to get it right...
well i was hoping to find a video as that would help more. But in essence, you thin your pain down, in my case dark gray, take a thin brush and you use the tip to draw a line, narrow at the tip and wider at the bottom. Then just repeat once it dries with lighter colors. The more colors you use, the better it'll look. If you click on the images a few times ,you can zoom in and see the brush strokes, that'll help you out.
Ah I think I was missing the thicker brush at the base, that might be what I need
dont over think it. i just used one brush but different pressures.
