Dexter. After the death of his sister, Dexter fakes his death, and becomes a lumberjack. His abandoned son Harrison to be raised by his serial poisoner girlfriend Hannah.
I much prefer the ending that Dexter New Blood had over the original series ending.
Alf. If I remember correctly the series ended with Alf being cornered by the FBI, and it's heavily implied that he's gonna die. Apparently it was a last stitch effort by the show runners to make them renew the series, but it backfired so the show just ended in the saddest way possible
You know how Ash always lost the Pokemon League? Well for the Kalos region it seemed like they finally decided to let him have it. In both the show and marketing, they went all out building up hype and foreshadowing that he’d finally win the Pokemon League.
Then it all fell apart at the very last minute because of what I can only assume was executive meddling, and Ash lost for pretty much no reason except he had to, going against everything the series had built up to. I’d never seen such a big internet meltdown. Fans were angry, some of the anime’s own staff members complained publicly about the result, and a bunch of writers who had been with the anime since the beginning conveniently ended up quitting at the end of the season.
I was upset because I too hadn’t watched the show in years and I was just invested way too much into the hype. I don’t think I’ve ever watched another show with such little respect for its own viewers.
Marvels agents of shield. Every season they seemingly end it off and every season it gets worse and worse. I would have been happy if it ended in season 4 but now we’re onto the dribble there calling season 7 I think?
Stargate Universe might be a good contender.
The show just ends abruptly and the comics meant to tie up loose ends probably isnt even canon.
Everybody except one guy hops into their stasis pods, and presumably they all fucking died because the show got cancelled right when it was starting to get good.
The comics offer what is arguably an even worse ending than that.
Game of Thrones is the obvious one.
But who has a better story than Boring Do-Nothing Bran?
Everyone. Literally everyone.

How I met your mother
Pokemon XY&Z. I can’t believe I have a flaming hatred for a children’s show.
What happened? Haven’t watched it in a long time

Lost
Definitely.
The Sopranos.
OH!
FireFly because it didn't get to have an ending.

Game of Thrones. Everything Sucks.
Scorpion imo. Not the biggest series, but I was just so invested. The series got canceled after ending on a huge cliffhanger.

Kyle XY! The bastards create this insane cliffhanger and then drop the show. Still pisses me off.
